Good Times!

the girls were invited to do their intepretive sign worship dance (praise in motion) this weekend at the "battle of the bands". the weather was beautiful, just a little on the hot side! the hosting church did a great job at providing a variety of things to do and keeping even the little kids entertained. got to meet some new and great people (hey "bill") and got to spend some much needed time with some very dear friends.

there were lots of bands there through out the day and one of them was "beggers promise" and another was called "33" something. they were very hard rock.

stacy, the girl that sings with the girls entered a contest they were having and she won the local american idol, so that was exciting, too.

then a group of us went to eat at chili's and that was great, as well.

it was an INCREDIBLE time! It's so amazing to see how He works and transforms lives. While up on stage, I get to see eyes turn upward, hearts turn towards Him, and hands raised! Then, it makes you worship all the more! :-)

Thanks for coming out and being so supportive of us! Even though you did miss I Will Be!

And Stacey's song was amazing, I'm sure! Even though the judges wouldn't let us in! I'm hoping to be able to Sign it soon!

Love you!

This sounds like a good thing for the community. I never went to one, but when our daughter, Karen, was at Baylor they had a Battle of the Bands every year.
I was surprised by the really hard rock band. I'm assuming it was Christian rock music they did.
Good too for the girls to have a nice audience for their dance testimony. Stacy was doing her part very well to get her award.
It was a nice weekend.
